Your Instructors:

Christine Garvin, MA, NE, RWP is a Functional Nutritionist based in Asheville, NC. She weaves together her personal health journey – including a fibroid surgery that nearly killed her – with her training in functional health, nutrition, and hormones to help women heal their gut and achieve hormonal balance. She has been featured in Health, Shape, Parade Magazine, and MSN. She is the host of the podcast, Hormonally Speaking, works with clients all over the world via Zoom, and offers group programs for gut healing and hormone health.

Marieke Steen M.I.B, FNTP, MRWP, is a Functional Nutritionist & Hormone coach based in Brussels, who helps women in their 40’s manage hormone chaos and migraines so they can feel like themselves again. She is on a mission to help as many women as possible discover migraine and hormone freedom. She is the creator of migraine & hormone freedom - a program that helps women get to the root cause(s) of their hormone imbalance so that they don’t have to feel like a stranger in their body anymore. She has been featured in the Hormonally speaking & the Brain Lady Speaks podcasts and the 2021 Hormone Summit.
Q&A
The weekly videos/audio last on average 15 minutes. There will be written forms of the same info, so that depends on how fast you read, but averaging 15-30 minutes. We offer bonuses each week, but that's up to you if you want to dive into them or not. We'll meet for 30 minutes for live session on Fridays.
No problem whatsoever! We will record each live session, and upload it the same day to our private course. And you can send us your questions beforehand, if you aren't able to make it.
We will guide you on the amount of each macronutrient - proteins, fats, and carbs - are useful and supportive to the perimenopausal body. Although we don't believe being a strict vegan is conducive to a healthy perimenopause, and we will recommend meat as a strong protein source, your diet is ultimately up to you.
This is pretty impossible for us to answer, as each of our body's are bioindividual. Some may feel a difference in a few days; some may not notice a difference for a few weeks. But this program provides the foundations for easing symptoms for the long run, from a root cause perspective.
